Her name is Yerling Hostos, she is a Venezuelan entrepreneur residing in the
United States, who is currently giving life and color not only to her own personal
story but also to our Uva brand.
Yerling is a journalist by profession, graduated from the Universidad Santa María in Caracas/Venezuela.
She also got a degree of International Chef in 2016 and later in 2018 she became a certified Life and Leadership Coach in the United States.
HER PASSION has always been linked to the world of fashion, art, and entertainment, as well as commerce and spirituality. She started working at a very young age. When she was 14 years old, she became an actress and model in her native country and from that moment she began to falling in love with the world of businesswoman. In 2010, she created her own brand of design stores in Venezuela called CREATIVÁS, which she considered to be a successful path and a lot of learning, then she began to design clothes for children and opened a store called Casa Rosa baby. In 2017, she moved to the US and decided to start a business where she would have financial freedom and quality time for her family and children, and in 2020 in the middle of a global pandemic, she took a risk and launched her own sunglasses brand online called UVA.
Yerling is a full-time mother, she is also creative, passionate and persevering, she is a woman who adapts quickly to changes and among her growth strategies she always keeps in mind that there must be a clear point to prosper and that is to have the will to evolve and innovate, that is why, she decided this year to expand her brand and now turn it not only into a sunglasses store, but into a more complete store for today's woman who likes to enhance her beauty. She, beyond being our CEO, is a human who moves from love, and this is expressed and palpable in her brand.
